Unlined canvas. Some buckling to canvas, most apparent under raking light. Stretcher bar marks visible at edges and vertically at center under raking light. Frame abrasion at edges. Some yellowing to the varnish layer. Craquelure throughout. A vertical scratch, approximately 2-inches in length, at right edge in lower right corner. Some additional scattered small losses, minor surface abrasions, and small dots of discolored accretion. Not examined out of frame.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Some brushy retouching at edges and in the sky area. Apparent strengthening applied to pinkish-tan tones of the architecture and in lower left corner.
