While Alex Schomburg worked steadily as a freelancing comic artist and illustrator for numerous titles, the monthly periodical Everyday Astrology was the only publication that he was a consistent contributor for over 20 years, beginning in 1938. Despite his long association with the title, examples of his work for Everyday Astrology rarely come to market. This one is particularly compelling as it shows clearly the influence of surrealism, art deco geometric design, and modernist experiments with negative space on his style.
