- Unique proof print: Warhol experimented with different color combinations before deciding on the colors for the edition. - By adopting and altering details from iconic Renaissance paintings, Warhol reinterprets their meaning. - Warhol's oeuvre encompasses film, photography, painting, music, and performance, yet it is his silkscreen prints that have become emblematic of postmodern aesthetics. - In private ownership for four decades.
