Morris Rosenfeld (American, 1885-1968) Sailboats (2 works), 1949 Gelatin silver prints 19-1/2 x 15-3/4 inches (49.5 x 40.0 cm) (images/sheets) Each embossed with photographer's blindstamp in the image. Signed and inscribed in ink, mount recto. Inscribed in pencil, and with photographer's stamps, mount verso. HID12401132022 © 2024 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
Overall good condition. Some areas of retouching, some retouching spots appear to be in the negative. A few accretions visible upon closer inspection. Edge chipping and bumps to the corners. Each sheet is dry mounted to a support mat, mats bear toning and some water damage causing mounts to warp and bow. One sheet's bottom left corner lifting slightly off mount. Each framed with out glass measuring 29 x 22 inches.
