Supreme x Gucci Mane Photo Tee, 2016 Size Large White In 2016, Supreme collaborated with Atlanta rap icon Radric Davis, better known as Gucci Mane. Widely regarded as on of the most influential figures in rap history, Gucci Mane's iconic projects such as "Trap House," "Hard to Kill," and "Back to the Trap House" solidified his status as a pioneer in the trap music genre. Despite his successful career, Gucci Mane's journey has been marked by legal challenges. On May 13, 2014, he pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, resulting in a plea deal that kept him incarcerated until late 2016. During this time, the phrase "Free Guwop" became a rallying cry among his supporters. On September 20, 2016, Gucci Mane was released from jail. While still under house arrest, Supreme organized an impromptu photoshoot at his mansion for their Fall/Winter 2016 campaign. The resulting photo tee sold out within seconds and quickly became one of the most sought-after releases in Supreme's history. HID12401132022 © 2024 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
