• The painting was part of a major retrospective at the Kunsthalle Bremen, the Kunstmuseum Bonn, and the Kunstmuseum The Hague between 2019 and 2021.
• Other works by Schwontkowski are at, among others, the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, the Galerie Neue Meister, Dresden, and the Museum Folkwang, Essen.

In good condition. The edges of the image are slightly worn in places. A few isolated traces of studio marks. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the aid of a UV light source, and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
