He carefully steadies the structure while two Cub Scouts crouch nearby to study his progress. The badges on the eldest boy indicate that he is a member of the Fox Patrol and was a participant in the First National Jamboree. Behind them, the Cub Scouts' Den Mother leans forward with attentive curiosity. The tightly grouped figures and their concentrated gestures emphasize cooperation, practical instruction, and the satisfaction of making something by hand.
