Ansel Adams (American, 1902-1984) Campus Meadow with Wooden Fence; Tree Detail, Couch Ranch; Forest Detail, Couch Ranch (3 works), circa 1962-1968 Gelatin silver prints 12 x 10-1/2 inches (30.5 x 26.7 cm) and smaller (images/sheets) Each titled in ink, and with photographer's stamp (BMFA 5 and 6), mount verso. PROVENANCE: The Cronn Gallery, Houston Texas; Private collection, acquired from the above, 1977. These featured photographs by Adams were a part of a commissioned project by the University of California Santa Cruz. For nearly 6 years in the 1960s, Adams wandered the campus, developing close to 500 prints for the book Seeds of Something Different: An Oral History of the University of California, Santa Cruz. Overall very good condition. Some sheets with scattered surface scratches visible in raking light. Each sheet is dry mounted to illustration board. One is framed measuring 20 x 16. The other two are not framed.
