There were two important Wedgwood commissions from Russia, the first being the "Husk" service in 1769. The decoration of this service was done at the Chelsea studio under the supervision and direction of David Rhodes. Unusually, the names of the painters of this service are known: Ralph Unwin, Jospeh Cooper, and James Bakewell.
