The vases are in overall good condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration observed. Both signed to portrait. Marguerite example with blue beehive in underglaze and impressed 5040. Sommer's title to underside with a beehive in blue; Rosenthal & Company and marked Germany in red ink.
