• An ecstatic, expressive “Schüttbild” (pour painting) by the legendary performance artist Hermann Nitsch.
• The color red is inextricably linked to his work—as both the color of life and death.
• His famous “Schüttbilder” are part of major international collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Tate Liverpool, and the Albertina in Vienna.
Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Atelier Hermann Nitsch (copy), Prinzendorf, dated April 24, 2018 [height erroneously indicated here as 120 cm].

Private collection, Switzerland

In good condition. Isolated spots of inconspicuous craquelure and very light dust accumulation in the thicker areas. Shows signs or traces of handling. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the aid of a UV light source, and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
