Gouache. Signed and dated in the lower left. On cradboard. 54.5 x 80 cm. , the full sheet. [KA].
- Exceptional interplay between reduced form and strong colors. - Almost 40 years in a private collection. - In the year of its creation, Penck took part in documenta 7 in Kassel and two years later, in 1984, in the Venice Biennale. - With his characteristic repertoire of signs, A. R. Penck is one of the most important German neo-expressionist artists.
The work is listed in the archive of Galerie Michael Werner.
