Lithograph in colors. Signed and numbered. From an edition of 300 copies. On Arches wove paper (with watermark). 64 x 50 cm. Sheet: 74 x 54,5 cm.

- Delicate, floating composition in a combination of different motifs that is so typical of Chagall. - Chagall used lithography as one of his preferred media. - In 2022, the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt am Main dedicated an important and comprehensive exhibition to Chagall's work with “Chagall. Welt in Aufruhr” (Nov. 4, 2022-Feb. 19, 2023).
LITERATURE: Charles Sorlier, Chagall Lithograph, vol. 5: 1974-1979, Monte-Carlo 1984, no. CS 8 (illu. in color).
Private collection, Southern Germany Private collection, Southern Germany (inherited from the above in 2003)
In good condition. All in all slightly discolored, with mount staining.
