Title: Oiseau bleu.
Date: ca. 1960.
Technique: Colour aquatint on half-transparent Japan.
Depiction Size: 19 x 39cm.
Sheet Size: 32,5 x 50cm.
Notation: Signed and numbered.
Publisher: Atelier Crommelynck, Paris (publisher).
Number: 6/8.


Condition:
Minimally discoloured with minimal brown spots. Minimally wavy due to an old mounting. Verso remains of an old mounting (press minimally through recto). Otherwise in good condition.

Motif origin initially as invitation card for the exhibition of the book publishing by Louis Broder. Not listed at Vallier. There is likely a second print run of 70 copies from Rives, which was published in the portfolio "La Magie Quotidienne" together with works of other artists and published by Louis Broder, Paris 1968.
