Unlined canvas. Water damage along lower edge, extending upward approx. 4 inches into the composition, with accompanying loss, also affecting the signature. 1/4 inch tear in the upper left corner; Small 1/4 inch tear along the lower center edge, in red fabric; Small 1/4 inch tear in figure at left; and a few scattered pinholes. White haze pigment visible throughout. Stretcher bar lines visible. Small loss of canvas to extreme corners.
