Vivian Maier (American, 1926-2009) Yellow Taxi on a Rainy Chicago Street, circa 1960s Dye coupler print on Kodak paper 2 x 3-1/4 inches (5.1 x 8.3 cm) (image) 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches (sheet) Kodak printer stamp and inscribed in pencil, verso. From the Ron Slattery collection While it's estimated that Vivian Maier took upwards of 100,000 photos, the vast majority of her work surfaced as negatives; Maier rarely printed her work or had it printed.
