stamped Degas and with the foundry mark A.A. Hébrard Cire Perdue and numbered 57/MP

bronze 

height: 22 ¼ in. 56.5 cm. 

Conceived in wax circa 1882-95; this example is cast in bronze by the A.A. Hébrard Foundry, Paris after 1919.
