The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Présence de très légères craquelures de séchage dans un empâtement rouge du quart supérieur gauche, uniquement visible en lumière rasante. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. There are a few very fine drying cracks along the extreme edges. There are very slight drying cracks in a red impasto to the upper left quadrant, only visible under racking light. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
